This research examines the psychological impact that participants experience immediately after and the long-term consequences of injury that was obtained from being compelled to play tackle rugby in schools against their will.

Physical education is a mandatory element of the national curriculum for children aged 5 to 16 years in the United Kingdom. We wanted to know what activities that included, how schools constructed their curriculum choices and which activities are compulsory.
